I-75 leading out of Gainesville was backed up after a truck rear-ended a semi-truck.
Only one lane is open on the highway as crews work to clear the wreck.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers say that around 3:45 p.m. a truck crashed into the back of the semi.
Soon after, they say another trailer piled onto the two vehicles.
They say at least one person was trauma alerted, and another had to be cut out of the truck.
The crash happened near the intersection of I-75 and NW 140th Street.
