Update: Highway 79 is now open. Florida Highway Patrol and other units remain on scene.
The Bay County Sheriff’s Office has announced a temporary road blockage due to a traffic crash on Highway 79 and Phillip Griffits SR Parkway.
According to a news release, northbound and southbound lanes of Highway 79 are closed.
Officials estimate the closure will last for approximately 30-45 minutes.
