Troopers searching for driver in deadly hit-and-run crash on OBT.

Troopers are looking for the driver they say hit and killed a 34-year-old man on Orange Blossom Trail.

The crash happened early Friday morning at 2:21 a.m. on OBT just south of SR-417.

FHP says the 34-year-old man was in the road, not in a crosswalk, when the driver hit him.

According to troopers, the driver left the scene, and the 34-year-old man was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators found a car part at the scene that belongs to a silver 2004 to 2008 Toyota Solara they believe could be involved in the crash.

They say the car should have damage to the front grill, bumper, and hood.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call FHP at 407-737-2213 or Crime line at 1-800-423-TIPS.
