A woman died in a head-on crash Tuesday night in Columbia County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP said the crash happened around 11:10 p.m. on State Road 47.
According to officials, a 23-year-old man driving north and a 33-year-old woman driving south crashed head-on.
The 33-year-old woman, from Fort White, died at the scene.
The 23-year-old man, from Lake City, was transported to a hospital with critical injuries, according to the FHP crash report.
FHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
