A late-night shooting in Lake Worth Beach left a woman dead and investigators searching for answers.
Deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office say they responded to the 700 block of South Dixie Highway just before midnight for reports of a shooting.
Authorities say they located a woman dead upon arrival from apparent gunshot wounds.
Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division say the investigation is ongoing.
The suspect and motive is unknown at this time.
