A perimeter has been set up by police as they search for two people following a crash in Hollywood.

The crash occurred Tuesday morning along U.S. 1 and Wiley Street in Hollywood.

A Local 10 News crew was in the area as police blocked off the silver Mustang convertible with police tape.

Both Hollywood and Hallandale Beach police officers were spotted at the scene.

Officers from both jurisdictions were also spotted at another scene along U.S. 1 and Pembroke Road, where a witness told Local 10 News he saw a woman collapse.

“I rode my bike over to her,” he said. “I stood over her and asked, ‘Miss, are you alright? Are you alright?’ I was just trying to see if she was alright because she fell hard.”

The man said he began detouring cars because the woman was in the middle of the street. Soon after, a car with more witnesses inside approached him and said they witnessed the woman being thrown out of another vehicle.

The witnesses called 911 and an ambulance quickly arrived.

“She was choking on her own blood,” the man said. “Then I heard one of the ambulance people say, ‘She’s shot.’”

Surveillance video shows the moments of the crash that occurred around 4 a.m. Two people are seen jumping out of the car and fleeing east.

No other details were immediately released by police.
