WPB Police searching for dirt bike rider after wheelie crash seriously injures pedestrian

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a hit-and-run driver on a dirt bike who left a pedestrian seriously injured in West Palm Beach.

According to the West Palm Beach Police Department, the crash occurred Saturday around 11 p.m. near Georgia Avenue and Monceaux Road.

Officers responded to reports of a pedestrian struck by an electric dirt bike. Surveillance footage shows the rider performing a wheelie at the time of the crash.

The pedestrian was transported to a hospital with serious injuries.

Investigators describe the rider as a tall man who wears a size 14 shoe. The bike is believed to be a black 2025 Sur-Ron model that likely has damage to the front and side.
