1 dead after crash involving motorcycle in Pinellas Park

One person died Thursday night in a crash involving a motorcycle in Pinellas Park, according to police.

The crash happened in the area of Park Boulevard and 66th Street North.

According to Pinellas Park Police Department, a black Mazda sedan was traveling eastbound on Park Boulevard in the left turn lane, when the vehicle made the left-hand turn it pulled into the path of the Suzuki motorcycle traveling westbound.

Everyone in the crash was transferred to a local hospital where the driver of the motorcycle died from his injuries.

The other people involved in the crash are in stable condition.

Police said speed and alcohol were not a factor in the crash. Those involved stayed at the scene and are cooperating with the investigation.
