1 dead after motorcycle crash on I-75 in Estero

A motorcyclist is dead after a crash along I-75 in Estero Saturday morning.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened along I-75 northbound near mile marker 124.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office says the motorcycle and a car collided. The motorcyclist was declared dead on the scene, according to LCSO.

Deputies have not shared the victim’s identity at this time.

The roadway was closed due to the size of the scene, but has since been reopened.

LCSO says this is an ongoing investigation.
