An Orlando woman was killed and three others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened just before midnight on Tuesday.
According to a crash report, a Kia Forte was traveling south on John Young Parkway approaching the intersection at Destination Parkway when the driver failed to stop. As a result, the driver of the Kia struck the rear of a Toyota Corolla that was stopped at a red light. Due to the impact of that crash, the Toyota pushed into the rear of a vehicle that was stopped in front of it.
The driver of the Kia, a 50-year-old woman, was transported to the hospital where they were pronounced dead, troopers said. The two other drivers and a passenger in the third vehicle were not injured and remained on scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
