1 killed, others hurt in Osceola County crash

One person was killed in a crash Thursday morning at an intersection in Osceola County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred around 5:30 a.m. at Deer Park and Nova roads, troopers said.

According to a preliminary FHP crash report, one fatality was confirmed on scene and there were additional transports to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

A roadblock established at the intersection remains in place at the time of this report.
