A suspect has been arrested after a man was killed following a Friday morning shooting in Orange County.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the 7300 block of Lake Underhill Road around 9 a.m. after reports of a shooting.
There, deputies say they found a man in his 40s who had been shot. The man was transported to the hospital but later died from his injuries.
The man was later identified as 48-year-old Steve Torruella Rodriguez.
Deputies said the suspect has been identified as 50-year-old Pablo Rafael Lantigua Cabral.
According to OCSO, all parties involved remained at the scene. Deputies did not release any details on what may have caused the shooting.
This is still an active and ongoing investigation, deputies say.
