One person was taken to the hospital Monday afternoon after a car and a U-Haul truck collided in Alachua County.
Gainesville Fire Rescue crews say the crash happened around 5 p.m. near the intersection of County Road 231 and State Road 121
They say one person in the car was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown out. He was taken to the hospital and is now in stable condition.
GFR’s hazmat team removed about 30 gallons of fuel that leaked from the U-Haul truck.
