12-year old injured in Fort Myers multi-car crash, man arrested

A 12-year old was one of two people injured in a rollover crash on Friday night.

According to the Fort Myers Police Department, officers attempted a traffic stop on a black sedan on Park Avenue and Second Street.

The driver, 39, fled from officers during the traffic stop before hitting a car in the intersection.

A gray sedan was seen flipped on its roof on the grass shoulder.

FMPD says a 12 and 22-year-old had minor injuries and were transported.

Alexander was arrested and transported to the Lee County Jail.
