13-year-old struck by vehicle in Port St. Lucie

The Port St. Lucie Police Department is investigating a crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.

The police department said at around 6:48 a.m. Thursday, it responded to a crash on SW Edinburgh Drive at SW Daemon Street.

According to the police department, a 13-year-old was hit by a vehicle. The child was transported by St. Lucie County Fire District to Tradition Medical Center with minor injuries.
