14 involved, 5 taken to hospital after crash in Tice

Fire crews say 14 people were involved in a crash that sent five to the hospital in Tice on Thursday evening.

NBC2 is working to find out how more than a dozen people are doing after they were involved in a head-on collision.

The crash was on Ortiz Avenue at Luckett Road, between Palm Beach Boulevard and I-75, north of SR-82 in Tice around 10 p.m.

Tice Fire and Rescue says 14 people in total were involved, and five of them were taken to the hospital.

Roads in the area were closed for a while, but have since be reopened.

It is unclear who was involved, and what caused the crash at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
