17-year-old accused of stabbing girlfriend’s brother in the face, chest with scissors

A 17-year-old girl was arrested on Thursday after being accused of stabbing her girlfriend’s brother in the face and chest with scissors in Lehigh Acres.

G E, 17, is facing multiple charges following her arrest on Thursday.

According to the arrest report, E’s girlfriend drove the victim to a fire station on 49th Street W around 1 a.m. before he was transported to the hospital.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to the hospital, where they met with the victim, who they said had a large cut on his chin and puncture wounds on his chest and right forearm.

E’s girlfriend told deputies they had been dating for around one year, and she described the relationship as “turbulent” and “not always healthy.”

According to the arrest report, the couple began arguing inside the house about issues with their relationship. The argument reportedly turned physical, and E strangled her to the point of almost losing consciousness.

The victim’s sister said she wanted E to leave the house but she refused. She was able to get her outside by walking out of the house. The report states she then locked E outside.

According to the report, Everett removed a window screen at the front of the house and forced her way back inside.

The victim was then asked to go to the house to check on his sister.

The report states when the victim arrived at the home, E armed herself with scissors inside.

The victim reportedly tried to calm the situation and asked E to leave before E stabbed him in the face and tackled him to the ground, where she continued swinging.

The victim and his sister were able to get out of the house and drive to the fire station.

Deputies said E was arrested at the home later on and taken to the Lee County Jail.

E is now facing two counts of burglary with assault or battery and one count of domestic battery by strangulation.
