17-year-old arrested after reports of shots fired at Dollar General in LaBelle

The Hendry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a scene in a Dollar General parking lot.

According to the sheriff’s office, it received calls from a witness saying he heard shots being fired at the corner of Cowboy Way and Collinswood Parkway.

The HCSO said K-9 deputies stopped the suspect’s vehicle and detained the juvenile driver they believed to be the suspect.

The 17-year-old was arrested and deputies said charges are pending.

According to HCSO, there do not appear to be any injuries at this time.
