SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) — A 17-year-old boy is dead, and another victim was hospitalized, following an overnight shooting in Sarasota.
At 1:12 a.m., the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office responded to the shooting at Twin Lakes Park, located at 6700 Clark Road.
Officials first said that two victims were taken to nearby hospitals for medical treatment. The second victim is still being treated for his injuries.
The sheriff’s office is still investigating the incident.
