18-year-old sought in fatal shooting of teen in Orange County

An 18-year-old man is sought in the fatal shooting last month of a 17-year-old boy in Orange County, according to sheriff’s officials.

The shooting happened on Sept. 5 in the 1800 block of Americana Blvd.

According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Ja’Corey Latrieus Lowery, aka “Trap,” shot Arthy Cetoute, 17, who died at the hospital.

Lowery faces a charge of first-degree murder with a firearm.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimeline at 800-423-8477 to remain anonymous. Information leading to an arrest could be eligible for a $5,000 reward.
