2 arrested, 1 wanted in fatal shooting at Best Buy parking lot in Sanford

After a man was shot to death outside a Sanford Best Buy store last month, police have now announced three suspects in the investigation.

In a release on Thursday, police said they had taken two of the suspects — K H, 22; and S D, 21 —into custody on charges of robbery with a firearm and first-degree murder.

Meanwhile, police added that they’d secured an arrest warrant for the third suspect — identified as J N, 22 — who is wanted on the same two charges.

According to the police department, officers responded to the Best Buy store along Rinehart Road on the night of Dec. 18, discovering 21-year-old T D P injured in the parking lot.

P’s family and friends later told News 6 that P hailed from DeBary and had played college football at Davenport University up in Michigan.

However, police announced that they are still searching for N’s whereabouts.

“The pain that T’s family is feeling is a pain that no family should feel,” Police Chief C S said on Thursday. “If you know something about the location of this criminal, you need to speak up now. These three suspects did not hesitate to take T’s life; they all need to be located and taken off our streets.”

Anyone with information on N’s whereabouts is urged to contact the police department or Crimeline at (800) 423-8477.

Calls to Crimeline can be made anonymously, and tips that help investigators solve homicide cases are eligible for up to $5,000 in cash.
