Two people were killed and two others were injured in a Thursday night crash on Beach Boulevard, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at the intersection of San Pablo Road around 7:25 p.m.

According to FHP, a 44-year-old man was driving a pickup truck eastbound on Beach Blvd, approaching Washburn Road. At the same time, two motorcycles were traveling westbound approaching Washburn.

Troopers said the pickup truck then tried to turn left in the path of the two motorcycles, which caused them both to crash into the pickup truck.

Both motorcyclists died, according to the FHP report.

FHP said both motorcyclists were men, from Jacksonville, and 25 years old. Both of them were wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The driver of the pickup truck was seriously injured. His passenger, a 29-year-old man, was critically injured in the crash. They are both from Jacksonville Beach, according to the FHP report.
