Two pedestrians died after being hit by a train in Miami’s Little Haiti neighborhood on Monday night, according to police.
It happened along North Miami Avenue, just north of 71st Street, just before 10:45 p.m.
Miami police said the pedestrians, “a male and a female,” were pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators have not released their names or ages.
Authorities did not say what type of train hit the pair or why they were on the tracks.
