2 dogs surrendered to the county after dog attack in Cantonment.

Two dogs were surrendered to Escambia County following a dog attack in Cantonment earlier this month.

On Feb. 11, Animal Control responded to the 2400-block of Brookwood Place for a dog attack.

The county says two dogs were involved in the incident, while a third was nearby. All belonged to the same owner.

The man suffered injuries to his legs and received treatment in the hospital. He has since been released and is recovering.

According to the county, all three dogs were initially surrendered to the county. However, the third dog who was not involved has been returned to the owner.

No further details were released.
