A crash involving multiple vehicles on the northbound express lanes of Interstate 95 near Northwest 151st Street led to a car fire that required an emergency response Tuesday.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said crews extinguished the flames, and two adults were taken by ambulance to a nearby trauma center. Authorities also confirmed a third individual involved in the crash was treated at the scene and was not transported to the hospital.
Video from Sky 10 captured footage of a charred car and a second vehicle that appeared to sustain significant damage.
Several lanes were closed as crews worked to clear the roadway. The incident caused traffic disruptions while authorities continued to gather information.
