2 injured in shooting at McDonald’s in Orange County

Two men were injured Wednesday night in a shooting at a McDonald’s in Orange County, according to sheriff’s officials.

Deputies responded around 10 p.m. to a McDonald’s in the 5200 block of Silver Star Road.

“One male accidentally discharged the weapon, injuring himself and another male,” the sheriff’s office said in a release.

The two men, both in their 20s, were treated for minor injuries.

No other information has been released.
