A 20-year-old Cantonment motorcyclist was killed in a crash Monday afternoon on Highway 29 in Escambia County.

It happened around 4:10 p.m. on Highway 29 and Tate School Road.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist was driving north on Highway 29 when he crashed with an SUV driving east, crossing Highway 29.

This caused the SUV to then hit a sedan that was stopped at a stop sign facing west on Tate School Road.

EMS pronounced the motorcyclist dead on scene.

The SUV driver — a 72-year-old Cantonment woman — suffered serious injuries, while the sedan driver — a 59-year-old Molino woman — was not injured.

No further details were released.
