A 22-year-old man driving a pick-up truck died early Sunday morning after striking a tree in Alachua County, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said he was traveling north on I-75 on the exit ramp to State Road 121 and lost control on the curve.
Troopers said the truck drove through the grass shoulder and hit a tree.
The driver, who is from Ocala, was taken to a local hospital, where he died. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
