A driver was killed and a passenger injured in an Orlando crash on Monday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 4:37 a.m. on State Road 528 near Universal Boulevard.
Troopers said the driver of a Honda Civic ran off the roadway to the right, striking a light pole and multiple trees before overturning.
The driver, a 23-year-old man from Hawaii, was taken to the hospital but was later pronounced dead, according to FHP.
The passenger in the vehicle, a 20-year-old woman from Pennsylvania, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
There is currently a roadblock for the westbound lanes of State Road 528.
