A 23-year-old Gainsville woman is critically injured after a crash in Escambia County on Monday.

Troopers say the crash occurred around 1:55 a.m. when she was traveling eastbound on Gulf Beach Highway.

She drove onto the south shoulder striking several signs, and a utility pole, according to FHP.

Troopers say her car came to its final rest on its passenger side on the southeast corner of Gulf Beach Highway and Bartow Ave then caught on fire.
