A motorcyclist was critically injured in a crash on State Road 9B at E Town Parkway Thursday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
According to FHP, the 23-year-old motorcyclist from St. Marys was traveling southbound on SR 9B behind an SUV.
Troopers said the man riding the motorcycle crashed into the back of the SUV.
He was transported to a hospital with critical injuries, according to the FHP report.
The 40-year-old woman driving the SUV was not injured.
All southbound lanes shut down due to the crash. As of 11:12 a.m., the lanes were still blocked.
According to JSO, traffic was being diverted to eTown. Please use caution when driving in the area or seek an alternative route.
It is unclear when the road will reopen.
