A 27-year-old Navarre man was seriously injured in a crash Monday evening in Santa Rosa County.
It happened around 6:20 p.m. on I-10 near mile marker 39.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, two vehicles were driving westbound — an unknown vehicle in the outside lane and a pickup truck driven by the 27-year-old in the inside lane.
The 27-year-old man and a witness said the unknown vehicle drifted into the inside lane, forcing the pickup truck into the grass median.
“After [the pickup truck] entered the grass median, it rotated counterclockwise,” FHP says in a release. “[The 27-year-old man] attempted to turn back to the north and re-enter the roadway: however, the pickup truck began overturning.”
The pickup truck flipped and came to a final rest on its roof.
