Three children were injured Wednesday in an ATV crash near Lake Wales, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened at about 2:40 p.m. in the area of Washington Avenue and East Northside Drive, which is just outside of Lake Wales city limits, officials said. The children were on the ATV when it rolled over.
All three children were airlifted as a precaution due to their ages, but they’re all expected to be OK, officials said.
No other details were immediately available.
