3 Florida residents arrested for acid attack on New Jersey woman

Three Florida residents have been arrested in connection to an acid attack on a New Jersey woman, authorities said.

Investigators believe 38-year-old Betty Jo Lane and 39-year-old Jmarr McNeil were hired to do this by William DiBernardino.

DiBernardino, who previously had a relationship with the victim, is from Boynton Beach.

The victim reportedly suffered chemical burns on more than 35 percent of her body after Lane and McNeil poured acid on her in a parking lot.

All three suspects were arrested in Florida and charged in New Jersey with multiple charges.

The charges include first-degree conspiracy to commit murder and first-degree attempted murder.
