A three-vehicle crash in Pasco County Sunday morning left a motorcyclist dead and two others injured, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8 at the intersection of Old Tampa Bay Drive and State Road 52 in San Antonio, troopers said.
A 46-year-old San Antonio man was traveling east on State Road 52 on a Harley Davidson motorcycle when officials said a woman driving a Hyundai Tucson turned in front of him, causing the motorcyclist to crash into her vehicle.
Authorities said the collision redirected the Hyundai Tucson into a semi-truck that was stropped on Old Tampa Bay Drive at the intersection of State Road 52.
The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.
The driver of the Hyundai Tuscon, an 81-year-old San Antonio woman, and an 87-year-old San Antonio man who was a passenger in the vehicle both suffered minor injuries.
Troopers said the semi-truck driver was not injured.
