32-year-old dies after crashing into tree

A 32-year-old Orlando man died after Florida Highway Patrol says he ran off the roadway and hit a tree late Thursday.

Troopers said the crash occurred on State Road 417 southbound at mile marker 40 in Oviedo.

The man was driving a 2004 GMC Sierra vehicle. Troopers said the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
