A 36-year-old Pensacola man was killed in a crash early Friday morning in Escambia County.
It happened around 2:05 a.m. on Millview Road off Mobile Highway in Bellview.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the man was driving north in a pickup truck when he left the roadway and collided with a guardrail. He was pronounced dead on scene.
FHP states a passenger left the scene.
An investigation is ongoing into that passenger for “criminally leaving the scene by not rendering aid or notifying law enforcement,” according to FHP.
No further details have been released.
