A 39-year-old Pensacola woman died in a crash Thursday afternoon on I-10 in Okaloosa County.
It happened around 5:15 p.m. on I-10 near mile marker 51.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a semi-truck was traveling east on I-10, while the Pensacola woman was traveling west in an SUV on I-10, along with a pickup truck.
FHP states the SUV and pickup truck “made contact within the [westbound] travel lanes.” The SUV then traveled through the center median and into the eastbound lanes, colliding into the left side of the semi-truck.
The 39-year-old woman was pronounced dead on scene.
The other drivers — 55-year-old Alabama man (pickup truck) and 45-year-old Crestview man (semi-truck) — were not injured.
No other details were released.
