4 dead after crash in Lehigh Acres

Four people are dead after a crash in Lehigh Acres on Sunday morning.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened at Lee Street and Lee Boulevard intersection around 11:41 a.m.

The release says three vehicles were involved.

A sedan missed a right curve and went over the median into the opposite travel lanes.

The driver and three passengers crashed head-on into another car.

All four people were pronounced dead at the scene.

Four more people were injured and taken to local hospitals.

This is an ongoing investigation.
