Four people — including three children — were hospitalized after a house fire in Escambia County early Tuesday morning.
It happened just before 1 a.m. at a home on the 900 block of Massachusetts Avenue.
Several Escambia Fire Rescue units arrived on the scene to heavy smoke from the single-wide mobile home.
“The fire was quickly located inside the home and contained to the area of origin,” ECFR says in a release. “There is heavy smoke damage throughout the home.”
The situation was brought under control by 1:23 a.m.
According to the county, the adult was the only one hospitalized as a trauma alert.
