A 60-year-old Naples man died in a crash while riding a motorcycle in Golden Gate Estates on Saturday at around 1:25 a.m.
The man was riding a motorcycle south on Wilson Boulevard as a pickup truck was pulling out of a driveway.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the driver of the pickup truck was attempting to make a turn but failed to yield the right of way to the motorcyclist. The motorcycle then collided with the back of the pickup truck.
The Naples man fell off the motorcycle after it overturned during the crash. He was taken to North Collier Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
According to the FHP report, the pickup truck driver was not injured in the crash.
FHP said this crash remains under investigation.
