63-year-old Milton man seriously injured in rollover crash near UWF

A 63-year-old Milton man was seriously injured in a rollover crash on Thursday morning in Escambia County.

It happened around 6:25 a.m. in the intersection of N Davis Highway and Campus Drive near UWF.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, a white Ford pickup truck being driven by a 33-year-old Pace man was traveling south on Davis Highway approaching Campus Drive. He then collided with a white Cadillac Sedan being driven by the Milton man who was stopped for a steady red signal, causing the pickup truck to rollover.

The force of the impact pushed the Cadillac into the intersection where it collided with a light blue Kia Sedan being driven by a 36-year-old Pensacola woman turning north onto Davis Highway from Campus Drive.

The driver of the pickup truck was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital by Escambia County EMS with minor injuries. He was also cited for careless driving.

The driver of the Cadillac was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital by Escambia County EMS with serious injuries.

The driver of the Kia, who was not injured, was cited for driving while there license was suspended or revoked.

On Thursday 5/16/2025 at 6:24 AM a three vehicle collision with roll over occurred in the intersection of SR 291 (N Davis Hwy) and Campus Dr in Escambia County, Florida.

The driver of the pick truck was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital by Escambia County EMS with non life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Cadillac was transported to Sacred Heart hospital by Escambia County EMS with serious injuries. The driver of the pick up truck was cited for careless driving and the driver of the Kia was cited for driving while license suspended/revoked.
