66-year-old Pensacola man killed in Escambia County crash

A 66-year-old Pensacola man is dead after an overnight crash in Escambia County on Monday, according to FHP.

Troopers say the crash occurred around 1 a.m. when a 20-year-old Fairhope man was traveling westbound on State Road 10 Mobile Highway in a sedan, while the Pensacola man was traveling eastbound on State Road 10 Mobile Highway driving in an SUV.

The sedan driver crossed the center line and collided with the SUV, according to FHP.

Troopers say the 66-year-old man died from his injuries and the 20-year-old man has serious injuries.

No further information has been released.
