A 70-year-old man from Palm Coast died on Saturday night after he was involved in a crash in Flagler County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP said the crash occurred around 11 p.m. when a pickup truck, which was being driven by a 21-year-old and contained three other passengers, was driving south on Belle Terre Boulevard while the motorcyclist was heading north approaching Finn Way.
The pickup truck made a left onto Finn Way but “failed to yield the right of way” to the motorcycle, which caused the front of the motorcycle to crash into the right side of the pickup truck, ultimately killing the 70-year-old man.
FHP added that a 53-year-old man from Jacksonville received minor injuries as a result of the crash.
