76-year-old Fort Walton Beach man killed in Okaloosa County crash

A76-year-old Fort Walton Beach man died at the scene during a crash on State Road 189 in Okaloosa County on Saturday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers say a 19-year-old Laurel Hill man was stopped at a stop sign on Poquito Road going onto Lewis Turner Boulevard. They say he then pulled out into the path of the 76-year-old’s car causing them to collide around 9:50 a.m.

The 19-year-old and his passenger suffered minor injuries.
