84-year-old Bradenton man dies after crashing into tree on I-75

A Bradenton man died in a crash on Interstate 75 on Wednesday afternoon.

The Florida Highway Patrol said the crash happened south of Big Bend Road at 2:21 p.m.

A Toyota Sienna, driven by an 84-year-old Bradenton man, veered off the road, entered the median and collided with a tree. FHP said he lost control of the car for an unknown reason.

The driver died at the site of the crash.
