Miami-Dade prosecutors filed a sexual battery case Monday against a 63-year-old man after a woman told police officers that he had attacked her, records show.
According to the police arrest report, a 30-year-old homeless mother reported RT had allowed her and her son to stay at his apartment, but after three weeks took advantage of her.
The mother said, “She had drank shots of R and had also drank Moscato when she got home … fell asleep on the couch” and woke up to him on top of her, according to the police arrest report.
Police officers responded to an apartment in a two-story building near Northwest Second Avenue and 20 Street in Miami’s Overtown neighborhood, records show.
T denied the allegations, but the victim had a record of text messages that contradicted his statement, according to the arrest report.
Detectives asked anyone with information about this or other cases to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477 to remain anonymous.
