The Boynton Beach Police Department (BBPD) is investigating a shooting at one of the city’s parks.
The police department posted Saturday night that its officers responded to Sara Sims Park, at 209 SW 9th Court, to investigate the incident.
The statement asked the community to avoid the area while investigators are on the scene.
No details about the shooting have been released. BBPD did not indicate the extent of any victim’s injuries, nor did it state if anyone was taken into custody.
