Deputies: Suspect in custody after man shot dead in Escambia County

A suspect is in custody after a fatal shooting in Pensacola on Wednesday evening.

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office says a man was shot multiple times on the 7500 block of Frank Reeder Road around 8 p.m.

They say the man was pronounced dead on scene.

Homicide investigators have been contacted by the sheriff’s office.
