Motorcyclist injured after being ejected in Hollywood crash

A man in his 20s was injured Saturday morning after a motorcycle crash on Pembroke Road in Hollywood, authorities confirmed.

Hollywood Fire Rescue said medics responded around 10:30 a.m. to the 4800 block of Pembroke Road following reports of a traffic accident.

According to Hollywood police, the motorcyclist swerved to avoid another vehicle, causing him to be ejected several feet from the bike.

Fire Rescue units from HFR’s Station 31 arrived within minutes to assess the victim.

Authorities said the victim was listed as a trauma patient and transported to Memorial Regional Hospital with multiple injuries. They also confirmed that he was conscious and alert during the transport.

No other details about the crash were immediately released.
